ACGME Clinical Learning Environment Review

ACGME Clinical Learning Environment Review

February 16-18 2016, the University Medical Center New Orleans completed a successful Clinical Learning Environment Review (CLER) provided by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).  A major component of the review is reminding clinicians about the strategies that have been implemented to address the six focus areas:

  1. Patient Safety
  2. Quality
  3. Transitions
  4. Supervision
  5. Duty Hours
  6. Professionalism

Quris was able to provide this important information in a manner that was rated as “easy to understand” by over 70% of clinicians.   The number of individuals that reviewed the content was measured via analytics giving program directors assurances the information was both being disseminated and reviewed.

Since Quris is already available for use by clinicians at UMCNO for clinical bedside information, providing this important preparation information via the Quris platform was a natural fit.
